Soul Mates at the Manor: Wedding at The Briarcliff Manor
How They Met
Chrissy + Jimmy’s love story began in their senior year of college. Both attending Queen’s College and pursuing degrees in psychology, the two met in one of their classes in September 2008. As fellow students, they talked a bit in class, but spoke little after their graduation in May 2009.
The First Date
As fate would have it, these soul mates would end up meeting up once again. Just a few months after graduation, the two made a plan to catch up over a cup of coffee and the rest is history! Chrissy & Jimmy’s first date is our first date goals, as these soulmate’s first date lasted over 10 hours!
The Proposal
Fast-forward, and 7 years after the soulmates made it official, the two were at home watching a Mets game on TV. Up by 1, the two watched in anticipation as Wilmer Flores hit a grand slam home run. Mets fans, Chrissy + Jimmy was overwhelmed with excitement as they jumped up and down, but that’s not the only exciting thing that happened that day. As the replays went on in the background, Chrissy turned around to see Jimmy on one knee as he popped the question!
The Wedding
This past Fall, these two soulmates made it official and became Mr. + Mrs.! After saying their “I do’s” Chrissy + Jimmy headed over to The Briarcliff Manor to celebrate their special day. The two newlyweds had some photo op fun – cheering their marriage, having a blast with their bridal party, and even a special fashion feature of Chrissy’s – her gorgeous shoes which had “Soul Mates” engraved on the bottom!
Surrounded by their closest family + friends, these two newlyweds made a special grand entrance featuring their bridal party! The two walked down the aisle (made by their bridal party!) and onto the dance floor where they shared their first dance as husband and wife. In shades of purple and plum, the two celebrated the night with plenty of dancing, including their special dances with their moms, and their gorgeous grand floral wedding cake. In one of our favorite moments, our BCM Bride Chrissy tossed her bouquet and we got to find out who the next bride will be!
