A NYC Love Story: Wedding at The Briarcliff Manor
How They Met
Our gorgeous Briarcliff Manor Couple, Lesley + Tiago’s love story started in the city that never sleeps! This NYC meet-cute is just like a scene right out of a movie. The first time Lesley and Tiago saw each other was when they locked eyes on the 2 Train on her way to work. A couple weeks had gone by before they saw each other again on that same train – a moment that was meant to be! The two sparked up a conversation, made plans for their first date, and the rest is history!
The Proposal
If you loved their meet-cute, then you’ll absolutely love their Central Park Proposal! It was a beautiful NYC day when Lesley and Tiago went for a walk through Central Park – their favorite spot – when they bumped into friends and decided to join them for brunch. Continuing their stroll through Central Park, they came across a man playing their favorite song as he sat on a bench.
Tiago then turned to Lesley and told her that he knew the musician playing their favorite song and had actually asked him to be there and in the ultimate surprise proposal, Tiago popped the question!
The Wedding
Every single wedding day moment is special, but our absolute favorite is the First Look – and it was one of our beautiful bride, Lesley’s favorite moment too! Standing in front of The Briarcliff Manor, Tiago waited, excited to see his beautiful bride. Lesley, in her beautiful wedding gown and with bouquet in hand, made her way through the double doors to meet her husband to be. Both so overjoyed to see the other, their first look was the absolute sweetest as they got to spend a few quiet moments with each other before the day began.
Lesley + Tiago’s other favorite moment of the night was when they surprised their family and friends with a Brazilian band! The band’s energetic performance was the perfect addition to their celebration, getting everyone on the dance floor.
