All You Need Is Love: Wedding at The Briarcliff Manor
How They Met + The First Date
Our gorgeous Briarcliff Manor Couple, Laura + Tim who tied the knot here this past October, began their love story when they met online. The two hit it off and went on their first date at Ron Black’s in White Plains for drinks, and over time they realized that they shared a lot of the same interests like cooking and outdoor activities, and the rest is love story history!
The Proposal
White Plains, wasn’t just the location of their first date, but also of their proposal which has to be one of the sweetest! The Saturday after Thanksgiving 2016, the two sweethearts went to the Winter Wonderland where they had seen the circus. Afterwards, while just walking around by the warmly lit trees, the two stopped in front of the big Christmas tree. With Laura looking up at the tree, Tim totally surprised her, by wrapping his arm in front of her, ring in hand! And and then she said YES!
The Wedding
Our beautiful Briarcliff Manor Couple, Laura + Tim tied the knot this past October! After some final touches in our Scarlett O’Hara Bridal Suite, our beautiful bride, Laura, had some bridal photo op fun, posing in front of the grand mirror and of course, the famous pink velvet couch!
To a beautiful processional by violinist, Laura walked down the rose-petal adorned aisle, escorted by her parents to All You Need is Love by the Beatles. Meeting at the end of the aisle underneath a gorgeous floral arch, Laura + Tim were all smiles! You could feel the love as the two exchanged their vows. Afterwards, the newlyweds, accompanied by their bridal party made the most of the beautiful Fall weather and brightly colored leaves, taking portraits by our side greenery.
After their photo op fun, Laura + Tim were ready to celebrate with their nearest and dearest, as they made their grand entrance to get the party started! In one of our favorite moments of the night, the two shared a beautiful first dance, which they had prepared for with dance lessons and practices at home leading up to the big day. The two had their dancing shoes on, and gave us all the dancing feels especially when it came to their amazing father-daughter and beautiful mother-son dances!
Some of Laura + Tim’s standout moments of the day included their gorgeous outdoor ceremony and the quiet post-ceremony moments spent together as newlyweds in our Vista Room before the celebrations. A photo op favorite we share with Laura – Her gorgeous Scarlett O’Hara Bridal Suite portraits! We especially love the Bridal Suite portraits she shared with Tim! Reminiscing on their day, Laura + Tim absolutely loved how their wedding day went and gave a special shout out to The Briarcliff Manor’s owner Perry for taking great care of them!
Laura + Tim ended their special day in the most EPIC newlywed send-off! With their family + friends cheering them on, the two got into his blue GTO convertible and drove off to happily ever after!
