Carolyn and Simon are undoubtably head over heels in love. Experience their journey with us, as we learn more about how it all started with a glance at the office.

Question: How did you two first meet?

Answer: Simon and I first met at work. We both had a job with Hugo Boss at Columbus Circle, NYC.

Question: What was your first impression of each other?

Answer: (Carolyn) For me it was love at first sight. I thought he was the most handsome man I’ve ever encountered, I was totally infatuated.

(Simon) She was the new girl at work, everyone had been talking about her… so when I finally saw her I just thought, “Oh okay… THAT’S her.”

Question: What was your first date?

Answer: We never really had an official first date. We kind of just started hanging out with friends as a group and eventually one on one. This led to memorable moments of the beginning of our relationship. One being; the first time we went to a diner together for breakfast.

Question: Who said ‘I love you’ first?

Answer: Carolyn!

Question: What is the most memorable date that you two shared?

Answer: Honestly, we have had so many at this point it would be really hard to choose one! If we HAD to pick, It’d be a restaurant we still go to for date nights, Vapiano.

Question: What are your nicknames for each other?

Answer: Babe

Question: Is there a favorite spot you two share?

Answer: Anything involving pizza.

Question: Who met the in-laws first?

Answer: Carolyn met my parents first, hers were a little later into the relationship.

Question: What are your favorite things about each other?

Answer: (Carolyn) Simon’s Brain- he’s thoughtful, smart and logical. (Simon) Carolyn’s love for all things- animals, people, she wears her heart on her sleeve.

Question: When did you know that you were going to propose to her?

Answer: I knew I wanted to marry her early on, but I knew the exact moment I wanted to do it when we were planning on having a get together on NYE; I wanted to start the year off right.

Question: What was your proposal like/where was it?

Answer: The proposal was amongst friends at our house party; it was perfect.

Question: How did you feel when he proposed?

Answer: I felt every positive emotion possible, but mainly shock! I didn’t expect him to do it the way he did, so I was surprised but full of happiness and admiration.

Question: How long have the both of you known each other?

Answer: Around 7 years.

Question: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Answer: Everything! It was honestly so perfect. I think our favorite part was just the fact that everyone had a good time and that it was easy flowing and fun… all we could ask for.

Question: How would you describe the style or theme of your wedding?

Answer: Clean, simple, timeless. All white everything!

Question: What did you look most forward to? The wedding day, the ceremony, the honeymoon?

Answer: The Wedding Day for sure! To get all our friends and family together in one room, especially since some are overseas meant a lot to us.

Question: What was the most fun detail of your wedding to plan?

Answer: Our outfits!

Question: What was the most unique detail at your wedding?

Answer: I think the simplicity of it all. We wanted to keep it down to earth.

Question: To the Groom: What were you thinking when you saw her walking down the aisle?

Answer: “I can’t believe this day is finally here”

Question: What is the first thing the groom noticed about the bride when she walked down the aisle?

Answer: I noticed how beautiful she looked. I just kept thinking, “how lucky am I?” I really noticed everything, not just one specific thing.
